1. Presentation

NEWROZ SPORTS CLUB (hereinafter “NEWROZ SC”, “the Club”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a professional sports club based in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. Founded in 1994, the Club is known by the nickname “A City’s Hope” (Kurdish: یانەی وەرزشی نەورۆز · Arabic: نادي نوروز الرياضي).

  • The Club’s first football team competes in the Iraq Stars League, the top flight of Iraqi football.
  • Home matches are played at Newroz Stadium in Sulaymaniyah (capacity 13,500). The stadium opened on 26 October 2024.
  • As part of its activities, the Club participates in sporting competitions, and may offer ticketing, merchandise, hospitality, media content, and digital services for supporters.
  • The Internet site newrozsportsclub.com and related official web properties (hereinafter the “Site”) are owned by NEWROZ SC and present news, fixtures, club information, ticketing and shop offers, the Newroz App, and community features for supporters.

2. Conditions of access and use of the Site

Access to the Site
